I've set up my online store so that I can sell to customers from many different nations, but how am I supposed to know what the tax rate and tax name is for each nation? I was expecting an 'Auto-Calculated' option for each nation just as there is for the US, but there isn't this option.
@ajac444 I would seek some professional advice on your business tax from your accountant or tax advisor. If you are looking to trade internationally it may be more complex depending on what you are looking to achieve for the business ie wholesale, export, type of product being sold, volumes etc. take a look at the link below from the UK government, it may help you understand when to apply zero rated VAT for items not used or consumed in the UK.

Thanks for your help. Yes I'm looking to trade internationally otherwise what's the point of having an online store? Much obliged for the link info.
You are welcome. International trading can be rewarding all be it complex, I have a friend who’s selling in to the main land EU on Amazon, a lot of red tape.
Yes, I agree it's very complex and too much red tape. It's a wonder international trade happen at all, but somehow it does. 😉 It seems to me that all 'they' care about is making sure that everyone pays there taxes.
