86'd Report?

Hello Square Community!

 

My baking team is looking for a way to track exactly when our items sell out with timestamps for each day. The purpose of this is to empower the baking team with information needed to adjust our daily baking pars accordingly. 

 

It would be awesome to pull a report that lists everything that was sold and when each item sold out. Does such a report exist? Does anyone else have a solution to this?

 

I have been having our front of house staff write these timestamps down manually, but when they're in the weeds, it is really a pain for them to stop what they're doing to add to the logs.

Welcome to the Community!

 

To check when items were sold or restocked, you can go to your Item Library, filter by stock quantity to show items with stock = 0 (sold out), and then click into each item. From there, scroll down to the stock history, where you'll see the dates of sales or restocks.

 

Alternatively, you can filter for sold-out items in the Item Library, then search for the item name in your transaction report to find when it was last sold.
