Hey @femi! I can see that this is your first post with us on the Seller Community. Congrats and welcome aboard!

When it comes to the SSL certificate, you don't usually have to upload the SSL cert anywhere on your Square Online Dashboard. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypts the data that goes from a user’s computer to your Square Online site and back, making the data exchange secure. This is especially important for online stores, where users will expect their information to be secure while transacting with you.

If your domain is hosted at Square, SSL is enabled by default for you the first time you publish your website. Occasionally, it can take 24–48 hours before the SSL certificate is configured.

If you have a domain hosted by a third party, you can still have SSL on your website. Make sure your domain name is pointed to the correct IP address and that your website is published. Learn how to connect your domain to Square Online in order to automatically enable SSL.

If you have waited beyond the 24-48 hour time period and your site is still appearing as not secure, could you please provide me with a link to your website? I may have to escalate your case to our teams internally to take another look. Thanks!

Let me know if you need anything else in the meantime.

Thank for getting back to me @femi. Currently, for Square Online, we suggest 199.34.228.164.

You can find instructions on updating your A records to point them at Square IP address on our support centre.
