we are a business using the square app for android we need to change bank account information for the payments we receive from square on our business sales
@carochamber I believe the only way to do this is via the online dashboard in a browser (chrome, firefox, etc.). You will have to be the account owner as they are the only person who can make any banking changes.
Thank you for your response. I've tried to call them twice and have tried it within the android app, and have not been successful. The issue is the person who set up the square account is no longer with the business that uses it, and that person has not been with the business for several years... i think they set it up using some of their personal information, and this is the struggle. But thank you for the response.
Hello there @carochamber, I'm jumping in and adding to what @Donnie-M has confirmed. In order to change the bank information the owner will have to take that action. If the owner is no longer with the business we recommend opening an account with the current owner's information. I know this isn't ideal, but it will eliminate when issues like this arise, and you need to take action. If you have any other questions please let me know.
