new receipt section is restricting

Hi!

I found that the new receipt section was restricting. I had a message from a customer that my email instructions were just a basic itemized receipt. I went to check and couldn't find the old hub to customize them! I feel being able to customize that  with sections, different font sizes (title, body, etc) with hyperlinks was vital to providing instructions after purchase.

The new spot allows for custom text but it's only 1000 characters with no bold/italics or any options. This makes it appear messy and jumbled 😞

Hi, @Swanlka23 !

With the new receipts editor, the formatting options are more limited unfortunately. The custom text box is capped at 1,000 characters and doesn’t currently allow styling like bold, italics, or hyperlinks. That’s why your messages may now feel less clear compared to what you were able to do in the old hub.

While receipts still include your business name, logo, and contact info, I know that may not be super ideal. The best workaround option in the meantime is to direct your customers to a dedicated instructions page on your website or send a follow-up email for more detailed guidance.

I can make sure your feedback about formatting and customization is shared with the product team. I know this may not have been the answer you were looking for, but I wanted to provide some sort of option for a workaround.

I hope this helps.
