The screenshot shows a current export of a Category of items, all of which were originally marked Non-Taxable across all 10 locations (CQ - CZ columns). now every other location shows Taxable = Y. Tried fixing this through export/import feature b/c there are over 3000 lines, but Square lags and then times out before upload is complete. Thoughts?
I am not sure why your upload is Timing out with 3000 lines in the spreedsheet.... I have over 6000 and mine has done that once and a while but I try again and it works. My stores Internet is only 50MB per sec so it is not the fastest around but works for Square, checking emails, and my POS. The only thing I could suggest is to try the CSV file, and selet the columns with N in them and change the N to Y for these columns..... wait half hour or so and make sure everything changed then Save the CSV and try uploading. It might be that the CSV file is not fully updated when you try to save which could be giving you the time out error. Just guessing here.
Now on how to fix this since you can't with csv export import...
This is also a guess since I have not run into the multiple taxes like you have setup.
Go to your Square Dashboard, and goto Account and Settings > Business Information > Sales Taxes > Choose a Tax you need to fix...
You should get a Screen like below :
Try checking the Box I have Circled, Just not sure if this will apply to all items or just to the ones that this tax is applied to for your locations....
So try it on one Tax and then export your Catalog again and see if it worked.
I am not sure what Square has changed but did see they added a bunch of columns to the Catalog file over the last few weeks.
