What is 'heat'?

Hello,

Maybe I'm showing my ignorance, but what does the 'heat' field mean on an item?  It's one of the few things I can filter items by, so it must be something useful?

I've searched for info to no avail.

Please educate me.  Thanks!

Hello @rustyravenng thanks for your post. I'm not familiar with anything called "heat"...where exactly are you seeing this in your filtering of items? Item Library, online Library? Can you post a screenshot?

Thanks for the Image, I think I figured out what "Heat" is.

I think you Created a Custom Attiribute.

I added one called Location and it shows up basically in you Image where 'Heat' is.

I tried this for basically Storage Locations but was unabel to export a Column called Location.  I was confused by this at first too.  See Image:

Oh, now that's funny.  I wonder when/who created that custom attribute and what it was for???   LOL

Thanks for helping me figure this out!!  Now, my days are less about scratching my head and wondering.  Ha!

UPDATE:  What's strange now is if I filter by 'Heat', it filters out some items, but the attribute is not actually used in the items left...   yet another conundrum about the usage.  Hmm
