Does anyone know of a third party inventory management that works with Square for keeping track of inventory that is not on the sales floor? We've added off site storage, and I'd like to be able to keep track of what's there, vs. what I have in the store. Also, I will be adding another physical store in the next year, so I need to keep track of each location separately. Thank you!
Quick answer No there is no way with Square to have inventory in a Stock room. Square only has Stock amounts per Location without anyway of tracking where it is in a building etc. I have been looking for this since 2019. I have a 16,000 sqft building and storage buildings at 1 location. When something sells off the shelf, and we need to replace it it would be great if Square had Bin locations. As for how much inventory is in each bin would be great too but I would just be happy knowing where the item is in the buildings. I have been conteplating using Zapier that when a sale of item ABC is sold it can deductuct it from a Google sheet which has the bin locations in them. Not sure if something like this would work using a spreadsheet you design to keep track of this off of Square?
