Using existing cash register

Hello I am looking to utilize my cash register model#D41sbu

and our existing receipt printer Epson TM-T88V.1

Is this possible or do i need to use sqaures equitment only ?

Hi there, @LGHDOCKSIDE 👋 Thanks for taking the time to post your question here! Hardware options can be tricky, but we are here to help!

While the printer and cash register options listed on our Online Shop are the only Hardware options we would officially endorse as fully compatible with Square Point of Sale, there have been reports of many different hardware accessories also being compatible.

One resource that I have found super helpful is this one from POS guys. They go out of their way to test various accessories, and then report back regarding their functionality.

Like any purchase, we would recommend doing due diligence and research surrounding others experience with the particular hardware. We would love to hear your report back if you've tried and had success any success with the Hardware you listed above.
