Using Square for subscription box company

I am starting a subscription box company and I am currently using Square. I am having a hard time figuring out if Square is the right platform for me. Is there a place where my subscribing customers are reported on my dashboard and I can see who is due to receive a box that month as well as all other information that would be useful? Square does offer tools that can support subscription-based models, though the functionality you're looking for depends a bit on how you structure your subscriptions. Currently, Square Subscriptions allows you to set up recurring payments for your customers, and you'll be able to view subscriber details, manage billing cycles, and track revenue, all from your Dashboard.

 

That said, features like tracking who is due to receive a box each month and managing fulfillment details aren't directly built into Square at this time. However, you can:

 

  • View and export your list of subscribers and billing status directly from your Subscriptions tab.

  • Use customer profiles to add notes or tags for internal tracking.

  • Integrate Square with third-party platforms like ShipStation, Zapier, or a custom CRM to streamline fulfillment and reporting workflows.
