Turn off Auto Create

Is there a way to disable Auto Create? It is making a mess when I try to enter new inventory.

I see it creating titles for products - I do not want to do that.

I can only scan to barcodes to the GTIN field - I do not want to do that.

I do not want to use Auto Create. How do I shut off?

@DrSway, Are you referring to auto-generated SKUs? If so, you can follow these steps to turn them off.

1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Items & orders > Items.

2. Click Settings > Inventory.

3. Turn off Automatically generate SKUs.

Please see screenshots from app. I do not want Square to create Names for my products or changing them after I've already entered them. I also need to be able to scan barcodes into the SKU field, not GTIN.
