The algorithm for suggesting inventory restocks when creating a purchase order seems to be broken

I noticed in the last few weeks or so that when I am creating a Purchase Order, Square no longer recommends adding items to the PO. Additionally, there would be numerous Auto POs that I could look through and potentially use as a basis for a Purchase Order, now there are just a handful, and oddly, two are for vendors that I haven't ordered from in years.

I called to ask about this and it was suggested that I clear my cache (which I did) and then try using a different browser (so I tried Google Chrome instead of my normal Microsoft Edge browser). Neither solved the issue. Then the support person explained that it uses an algorithm, which I understand, but it should be picking up recent sales and low stock, etc. but it is not. I didn't realize what a useful feature it was until it no longer works.

Now I'm back to having to go through every item for a vendor. A real pain.

If others are having this issue, could you please let Square know?

Hey there @mooretoys thanks for reaching out, sorry you are running into some issues with Square Retail. To confirm when you go to " All Purchase Orders" you are not seeing the purchase orders you utilized before. Also, can you provide more insight on when you say there are no recommendations anymore? I am on my demo account and when I type a letter I get a drop-down with options. How was it before? Thank you!
