Do I need to purchase a terminal in order to offer after pay to clients?
Hi there, @Deaners04. As long as you have AfterPay enabled for your account, then AfterPay can be the payment option anywhere — POS, Online, etc. A Square Terminal is not needed, but some sort of POS device (or online store) is required.
How do I know if it’s set up like that?
@Deaners04. Ah. My apologies. Since you were asking specifically about Terminal, I assumed that you already had AfterPay setup. So….
Go to your online dashboard > Account & Settings > Business Information > Payment Methods. Here you can enabl AfterPay and/or Tap-to-Pay. Also, it would be a good idea to at least browse the Terms of Service for AfterPay.
