Step-by-step: Shipping setup for Printful POD on Square (rates + ETA)

Hi Square Support,
I’m selling Printful print-on-demand products through my Square Online store. I need current, step-by-step instructions (with the latest menu paths) for configuring shipping so customers are charged accurately and see a realistic delivery ETA.

Specifically:

  • Where do I set shipping rates for POD items fulfilled by Printful (shipping rate profiles / checkout shipping settings)?

  • What is the recommended method: flat rate, weight-based, or “free shipping” (shipping baked into item price)?

  • How should I handle the “Ship from address” showing my home address (and sometimes flagged invalid) if Printful is the actual shipper?

  • How does Square calculate/display delivery estimates, and how can I ensure the ETA customers see matches Printful production + shipping times?

The Printful integration and setup requirements are managed directly by the Printful team. That said, I was able to find Printful’s guide for connecting Square and setting up products and shipping, which you can view here.
