Stacking Item Discounts on Cart Discounts Changes Item Total

Hello, I think there is a bug in the discounts for Retail.  To reproduce, add an item to your cart and apply a 10% discount to that single item and note the new discounted price for that product. Then, add a cart level 10% discount to the entire cart.  The item discounted price shown in the cart will change again to a higher, incorrect amount.  However, the cart total will be correct.  For my example, I had an $8.99 product with a discount of 10% which made the price $8.09.  However, when I added the cart level discount of 10%, the individual item changed to $8.18 but the cart total was the correct $7.28.

I have tried to reproduce this issue and haven't been able to. 

 

If you are using the Square for Retail app on an Apple or Android device, I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app to ensure it is up-to-date. Making sure your device is running the latest operating system available also helps. 

 

If you are using the Retail point-of-sale on one of our Square devices, resetting the device can help. 

 

If after doing this, you continue to run into this issue, I would recommend reaching out to our direct support team, as they'll be able to help troubleshoot further.

Thanks @frances_a . We have 5 Square Registers and they all exhibit the same behavior.  I will reach out to support.
