I got off the phone with a representative of the integration team and asked me feedback regarding the integrations.
Needless to say, as a current restaurant owner, I gave her a lot of feedback that they are going to look into (ability to adjust pricing for pickups and deliveries, adding GrubHub, ability to pause/unpause all platforms from Square Orders section, syncing modifiers when they are marked ‘sold out’, and getting all of the categories and modifiers to appear in the order we have them set on Square to name a bunch).
Testing will be done with Doordash first and then Uber Eats coming into next year. I am looking FAR forward to this as only Doordash works alright. Check with Square if you can be added to their beta testers for when they are ready to go for it as I did.
@momas_cafe I think you see this foundation being laid in the "channels" option on items now. There is a ton of consolidation where you can manipulate how and where items show up without having to edit sites in a bunch of different places.
DoorDash is the only one that seems to integrate well into Square without having to pay for a third party. UberEats was a nightmare with integration, so we disconnected it and only stuck with manually inputting the orders into the POS. Does anyone have any experience with GrubHub integration with Square?
1st: Grubhub integration isn’t available yet (they will probably look into this after they are done beta testing with Doordash)
2nd: hang tight as they are almost done with a new method of integrating with Uber Eats. Once they have it similar to the new Doordash one, it’s going to be MUCH better.
If you desperately want better integration now and don’t mind paying a third-party, you can look into Stream. They seem to have all 3 and can integrate with Square.
