Square for retail - how do I not show items that are unavailable or out of stock in grid

Hi I’m using square for retail when I sell at markets.  I love the grid which shows the items with pics making it easier to find the item for checkout.  However it shows even items that are out of stock or unavailable.  Is there a way to show only in stock items?

I do not believe Square has this Feature for Square for Retail.

But if you have a FEW items you may try editing your items this way:

To start: From your Square Item Library, select an existing item or create a new one. Under “Where it's sold,” choose Hidden from the Site visibility dropdown menu. Select Save when finished.

The other option is to use excel and export your Catalog as a CSV or Excel file.

Sort the Spreedsheet by Current Quanty Low to High.   This should get your (-) items and 0 quantity items first.

Then in the Column That shows Hidden for the Item you tried, copy that down for your items you do not want available.

Yes if you sell the last item it will still be visable on the Retail App.

These are some quick Ideas I have to help you since now one else has yet.

Thanks for joining the Community.

If an item or item variation is unavailable for sale from your Square Dashboard or Square POS app, you can mark it as sold out. 

From your online Square Dashboard:

1. Visit Items & Orders > Items in your online Square Dashboard.

2. Select the item(s) or item variation(s) that you'd like to mark as sold out.

3. Click Edit variation details > Manage stock.

4. Toggle on/off the Mark as sold out on Point of Sale and Online option.

5. Click Done.

Note: This will also label the item or item variation as sold out in Square Online.
