Square Register bug - Resets quanity to 1

When a customer purchase multiple items and you select an item that does not skip the "Item detail screen".  When you increase the quantity either with the "+" key or manually enter the quantity it resets to 1. You cannot add multiple items to the cart.

This does not happen if the item skips the "item detail screen" and you select it after putting one in the cart.  This happens on both of our square registers.  But not on a tablet I have run Square POS.

I sent an email to support. I received the generic message. Do a factory reset.  Which is the only thing that the troubleshooting page suggest.  I did that before posting or commenting on this bug.  It is on 2 square registers, but not on the tablet at the same location.

Understood. I would definitely call into our phone lines to speak to an advocate on the phone so that they may file this with our engineering team. They can then be your point of contact throughout the entire process.
