Square For Retail recommendation

It would be very helpful for inventory purposes if there was an "Stock Ordered" option in inventory.  For example, if I have 150 items on order I can place them in square as "Ordered" rather than accept them in inventory.  When they arrive I can accept them into the store.  Right now, orders are inputted as accepted, but some vendors have items that are back ordered.  Even though I show them as in my inventory, they haven't arrived yet, making an inventory book keeping a nightmare.  Its hard to control when you have 12k items in square.  Just add a selection above "stock received"  with a "Stock Ordered".   It would also be nice to add a filter for "stock ordered" and that order would come up with the date ordered and the employees can check off the items as they come in and receive them in the store.

Why have these threads?  **bleep** if I do not take the time to post a recommendation that would help us out and not receive an answer.  if this is something you will not or won't do in the future, then say so.  a year without a response is terrible.  No wonder your customers (US) are leaving square for a better platform that make a bit more sense.  Listen to us, respond to us, take care of us....and maybe we will stay.

While we understand that this may be a helpful feature to have in this moment, there are many things that our Product team takes into consideration. Just for insight, I am posting this helpful guide that explains how it is we advocate for feature requests.

While not all feature requests or asks are selected to be implemented into our products, it does not mean that there is not a possibility that this will be prioritized some time in the future.
