We've recently added a Square portable terminal to speed up the settling of bills. It seems to have one important limitation. We often end up splitting tickets by item when we settle bills with an iPad. As far as I can tell this is not possible using a terminal. Most tables that request a split bill prefer to split by items instead of amount. If there isn't a way to do this it would be really helpful to add this feature to the portable terminal.

I checked up on this in this Support Center article and it looks like this option is just available on the iPad or Android tablet at this time.
Are you utilizing Open Tickets for this? Because I do know that's available on the Terminal.
