Single Item Per Ticket / Size of Print

Hi, for a while now on our system the Print Single Item Per Ticket has stopped working, actually during the Beta testing of the redesign, not sure if anyone else uses this functionality or not but if so is yours working? We use it every Sunday as we do a carvery, customer comes in and purchases say 3 carvery's, the printer used to print out 3 tickets... 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3, all with the same item on that has been purchased. Also at a similar time 2 out of 3 of our ipads now print a smaller receipt, almost as if it is photocopied but reduced by maybe 25%! 

Tried resetting Ipads, reinstalling app etc etc, nothing seems to alter these issues?

Hi @The_Sun_Inn 🙂 thank you so much for the video - it's really helpful. 

 

I can have our Restaurant team take a look at this, but I wanted to check what settings you have enabled first. 

 

For In-person order tickets, there are a few options, two of which are:

  • Single item per ticket: This setting overrides grouping items and automatically prints each item, ungrouped, on its ticket.
  • Combine identical items: Items with the same details will be automatically combined to form one line item.

Without looking at your settings it sounds like you may have Combine Identical Tickets on, you can check in: ≡ More > Settings > Hardware > Printers > Profiles.

 

Can you try changing those settings and let me know if there's any improvement? I'll keep an eye out for your reply.

@Breffni Hi, thanks for the response, I have checked these settings and all set correctly as per photo 🙂 Also just to clarify we are using Ipads, the app is up to date and the ipads are up to date, the register we have works fine and does what it should do!

No as in original post Register works fine, it is the Ipads (x3) that we have the problem.
