How do you make categories, customise amount for that category each time?

Hello 

im trying to make categories 

for a couple of friends whose goods I’m selling - we are in a group and I’m the one with the square reader 

any ideas?

While I've provided steps below for creating a category, it's important to understand that Item Categories serve as a tool for organizing items into specific groups. Pricing details for each item are determined individually.

If you intend to offer different item prices based on additional factors, you may want to consider Item Variations.

In the meantime, find the steps below to create an item category:

1. From your Square Item Library, go to Categories.
2. Click Create category.
3. Name your category (e.g. Drinks, Food, Shoes), add items, and adjust any other relevant settings.
4. Click Save when finished.
