Sending invoices from FIlemaker to Square

I have see a few posts about sending sales from square to filemaker but we need to do the other direction. Create the invoice in filemaker and for those customers who pay online (some want paper bills) export that invoice with amount due, customer details and email address to Square and send it.  Then the customer can view / pay it anytime from the square email. 

 

I see we can import customer lists, but then we would need to create an invoice in filemaker then create an invoice in square and enter that information again.

Hi there @Bob_f.  Umfortunately, this is not the forum where you will get any results.  This is because -- with a few exceptions (third-party delivery platforms, for example) -- Square does NOT integrate with any other apps.  Square only provides the APIs that third-party developers can use so they can integrate with Square.  So, if you want Filemaker to integrate with Square, you need to reach out to their support team and make the request.

 

That being said, quite often these days you can use tools like Zapier (or Pabbly).  These tools automate things based on triggers (ie - a payment was received in Square) which result in actions being taken (ie - a new record is added to a spreadsheet, an email is sent, etc).  Using these is beyond the scope of this forum, but these tools have seriously great help documentation, videos and even AI tutorials.
