Before integrating pre-auth at my bar, I wanted my team to get some time with the new interface with "Order & Pay" – Instead of a "checks" tab, there's an "orders" tab. Although all of my settings for reopening a closed check are correct in the dashboard, I cannot reopen a closed check from the transaction tab. The button is literally gone. I found one loophole, but it's not 100%. Under the orders tab, you can view open, paid, and closed checks. If you can find the check there, you can hit the 3 dots on the top right corner and you have the option to reopen the check. However, in the two most recent cases, the check I was looking for was not listed in the paid or closed tab. Many other checks were, but not the ones I needed. Every check is easily found in transaction. Is this a glitch or am I missing something? For now, I am refunding and re-ringing. Not ideal. Help is much appreciated.
Side note: we don't do any online orders, and I wish they would keep online ordering feature upgrades out of the restaurant app unless you want to add it. We have been patiently waiting for pre-auth for years and unfortunately I am forced to use this new "Order & Pay" upgrade to use it.

During service tonight the "Reopen Check" per your instructions was completely gone. There was no way to open a check and we were forced to issue a refund instead. After doing that, the adjusted transaction did not allow for a tip to be entered so my staff also lost the tip. Please address this glitch immediately. I love that Square makes improvements but there are always so many glitches following new releases.
