I believe online store owners should have the option to choose whether their business address is displayed publicly on their storefront.
As part of the account setup process, business owners are already required to submit documentation to verify that their business is legitimate. Once a business has been verified through these documents, that verification should be sufficient without requiring the owner's address to be publicly visible.
I operate a home-based business and use DoorDash for delivery services. For privacy and safety reasons, I do not want my home address displayed to customers. Requiring home-based business owners to publicly share their address can create unnecessary security concerns and may discourage small businesses from using the platform.
I respectfully request that merchants be given the option to hide their address from public view while still maintaining their verified business status. This would allow home-based businesses to protect their privacy and safety while continuing to serve customers through delivery and other approved business channels.
