Recently Square for retail won’t process customer cc returns from a receipt. We get error code of “in progress ” and “unable to process”. To fix I had to uninstall square for retail and reinstall. This is a brand new iPad and stand and both the iPad and square are in auto update so we were operating latest iOS 18 w latest square. Anyone else having issues ?? I put in a help ticket w square.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues. I think I have seen this in the past as well and what I did to remedy it was;
Then, when I got back in to the app things were working as expected. I'm not certain this will solve your issue or not but wanted to pass my experience along to help you in case it does.
Regardless, Tech Support should get back to you and hopefully address it.
