Looking to print labels to price tag our retail shelves, just the typical label (like 1" x 1.25") that pops into the front of a retail shelf to show product/price.
Looking in Square, all of the options seem to be adhesive (Avery or Dymo), am I able to -
1) Import other options for labels to print?
2) Suggestions on type of perforated paper or other to use? Looking for something to fit a traditional laser printer vs label printer.
Thank you!!!
Hello @CordellMartin thanks for your post, and welcome to the Square Seller Community! We're so glad you're here. I hope you find the Community a great place to share business tips, advice, and info about Square. As far as shelf labels...you can use the presets for adhesive labels, and then just affix the labels to cardstock, cut them out, and insert them into a "shelf talker" kind of holder for your shelves.
You could also manually print out labels or shelf signage. I use labels from www.onlinelabels.com, but you could use any program to layout your data (price, name, description, etc.) and then print them from any program onto any kind of paper. I know this is more work, but I've found I have some more flexibility in the long run when I layout things myself. If you use a word processing or page layout program, you can also create your own barcodes using a special "barcode font", and type your SKU numbers with the barcode font. I created all of my retail store price labels using this method, and then I'd scan the labels with my self-made SKU number into my Square inventory.
Whatever method you decide to use, the more you use a system the easier it will be. Thanks for joining us in the Community, I hope this might help answer your question.
