Pre-Orders and "Fill-by" dates

Hi, we upgraded to use the pre-order feature for our meal pickups. What is working: The customer can clearly see the pickup date listed when they order. In the most recent case, it's the day before Thanksgiving.

What's not working: When I look at the list of orders, the fulfillment date is when they ordered, not the pickup date. I can manually change each one, but not in bulk. Why and how can I fix this on around 50 orders?

Also, I don't think the order receipt sent to the customer lists the fulfillment date either. It would be nice to have it in there as a reminder, as some people ordered nearly a month early.

Other than the item labeled with the pickup date, I don't see any advantage to using Pre-Orders. Am I missing something?

Thank you!

BTW, and maybe this should be reported as a bug, but the item lists both the deadline to order and the pickup date as "preorder":

"Preorder for Nov 26
Preorder by Nov 18. Available for pickup."

I guess that is technically correct, but the grammar is confusing. If you click on "View details," it is much clearer:

"Preorder for Nov 26

Last day to order

Nov 18, 25 at 11:55 PM

Pickup dates

11/26/25"

A related question: Shouldn't my pre-orders show up as "Scheduled" here: https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/orders?

Hello, @abrokenangel

I haven't seen any other reports of issues with pre-orders. I understand that there is a time constraint on this experience, and for that reason I recommend reaching out to our support team. You can give us a call at 855-700-6000 between 6 am - 6 pm Pacific Time Monday - Friday. You can also get in touch with our Messaging and Email Support Teams here.

I know they will be able to shine a light on your situation and hopefully get it cleared up.
