Order printing multiple items as individual line order

Hi

Order docket printing each item separate e.g 10 tostadas is showing as

1 x tostada

1 x tostada

etc

this seems to be new and can't find this setting anywhere

I think you are referring to the combine identical item setting:

Print Order Tickets | Square Support Centre - AU (squareup.com)

I find sometimes when an update happens, or there are new settings introduced sometimes the behaviour changes.

This happened to us too on Friday (our busiest night) and took me until Sunday to find this new setting. Only affected my iPads and not my android devices.

Go into each printer you have set up and turn on the combine identical items toggle.

So from my iPad 

More > Settings> Hardware > Printers > select printer > in-person order ticket> combine identical items > toggle on
