Why don't I get an order notification via email when a customer places an order via a PAYMENT LINK? I cannot find any setting that addresses this. Please help, thank you !

Do you already have Order Notifications enabled for your Square Online Store? If not, you can follow the instructions in this Support Article. If you already have them enabled, but are not receiving notifications for your Payment Link transactions, it's possible that Payment Links could be considered Transactions vs Orders. "Per Transaction" notifications can be enabled here in your Square Dashboard.

Thank you for the reply Violet. Yes, I have Order Notifications enabled for my online store and that all works just fine. I guess I thought sending a payment link to the customer would "create an order" for what they were paying for. If checking that box for "Per Payment" within the Transactional Emails section starts to send an email for every POS transaction I make, then no I don't want to do that as that would open the flood gates. If that's the case, then I will not use that Payment Link feature in the future, I will just send a link to the product page on my site.
Please confirm what you find out if Payment Links are considered "transactions". Thanks,
