Barcode font

I am trying to recreate Square barcodes in Word. Currently I'm using the IDAutomation (https://www.idautomation.com/free-barcode-products/code39-font/) code 39 font. When I use the SKU generated by square, the resulting barcode will not scan with my barcode reader. 

Am I using the correct font? Do you have any tips?

@stamchoc  You’re scanner may not be setup to scan code 39.  Your scanner should’ve have come with a manual or online manual that has the appropriate barcode you scan to enable code 39.  I had to do that to my scanner to get it to read 128 barcodes.
