Hi there @Morvemma - thank you for flagging this. 

 

We are in the process of deprecating our old Point of Sale and by June 22nd 2023, Square sellers will no longer be able to revert to the original Square Point of Sale. You would have received email notifications from us about this. 

However, this updated version of the app has small changes which should not affect your operational abilities in any way - up until now you were able to switch between both versions within the app/Terminal as you pleased and the new interface would load instantly. 

 

This update would not have logged you out of your account, removed your account details such as bank information or disconnected your hardware. I would double-check that you have not logged into a different account by accident as it's the only thing I can think of here - let me know if you notice that may be the case - is all of your transaction history still visible? 

 

In terms of your feedback on getting used to the new flow - I completely agree and understand your standpoint here and I'm sorry that you've had a poor experience. I had another seller reach out with the same sentiment and I did provide some context - you can review the thread here.
