I had devised a way to mark orders as tax exempt in circumstances where a customer presents an exemption certificate- create a fulfilment method and then a sales tax rule for an exemption when the order type is changed (then add the check as a guest to a specific group labeled Tax Exempt for regulation-ready record keeping and retrieval).
Anywho, I tested this in my lab- I use a stand + iPad and everything worked great- fulfilment method shows up on POS and registers as a method in Modes on Dashboard. Rule applies, badda bing, you've exempted a whole check in a single tap.
But on one site where I implemented it in the same order and way I did in my lab, the entire method is missing from Modes and the POS even though it is active at the location.
My office even thought that the workaround was causing printer issues with the terminals because of how buggy Square can be for full service restaurants.
I'm trying to figure out why the method wont appear at a specific site, and also rule out that it was or is or isn't the cause of a particular terminal not printing to a kitchen printer.
