My square register doesn’t show a cash payment option

We’ve just upgraded to the square register but when we go to charge a customer the only option is the card options. It doesn’t show a cash payment option. How do I add this? And do you add it on the register or through the dashboard?

Hello @cafedjango and thanks for you question. I'm not in front of my Register right now, but if you go into your Settings, you should find an option to select what kind of payment methods you will accept. Take a look around in your Settings for Hardware (or another section) and look for Payment options. See if Cash is toggled on or off in this setting.

On you Square Register, tap More > Settings > Payment types. From there, you can toggle on the payment types you'd like to offer.
