Modifier screen not showing up Square for Retail

I have not had any problems until the latest update on my iPad. I have items that require modifiers to be chosen  and the screen has always popped up when I select the item to sell it on Square for Retail. I did the update about 1/2 hour ago and that is no longer happening. I have gone into the items individually and the "Skip item details" toggle is not on so it should not be skipping. Help!

I reached out to my Square rep, and she had the techs turn on the modifier pop ups for me. I don't know how they did it, but it is possible.

For people who are struggling because the pop up for the modifiers won't pop up when added to cart.

1) Go to each individual items and then click ...(3 dots) on the modifiers.
2) Click Customize 

3) Set the Minimum Modifier to 1, and Maximum Modifier to 1. It may be already set to that, but change to something else and change it to 1 / 1 again.

4) voila. it will work!

This is great for people using modifiers. But using my business as an example, I am using Units. Not modifiers. And I have 6,000 items. We should not have to change each item individually.

That really sucks... I hope they update this function soon. I mean it has been months... i just assumed it would be resolved soon so I never looked for solutions. But like wtf... I hate that they update things that are working well without really giving an option to not update or heads up...

I ended up switching to Square for Restaurants. Modifiers behave completely differently and I had to edit the configuration of each item individually. It’s still not as efficient as the old way, plus there are other issues with Restaurant that we really do not like.
