Mod Button for Half double large

Guys i run a pub and is looking for away to add a modifier button on the home screen for half pints doubles or large i had this on my other pos i used before and its a really great button to have i think its called a  mod state button any ideas would great on how i can get this i dont want to use it in the item menu this works like customer half a carling pleaase press mod button select carling and it automatically drops it down to a half and charges the price inputted in the item menu

This is a great use case — modifier buttons for pour sizes are essential in a pub. Here's how to set it up:

1. Go to Items on your Dashboard
2. Create a Modifier Set called 'Pour Size'
3. Add: Half Pint, Standard, Double, Large — with price adjustments for each (e.g., Half -$2.00, Double +$3.00)
4. Apply the modifier set to your drink categories

Now when staff tap a beer, the pour size options pop up before adding to cart.

The key: use Modifier Sets not Variations. Variations create separate SKUs which gets unmanageable with 50+ drinks. Modifiers keep one item with selectable options.

You can also set a default modifier (Standard) so staff only tap if it's different. For the home screen shortcut, look at Item Shortcuts in your POS layout settings — you can pin frequently used modifier combos.
