Items are not showing up in inventory.

I'm attempting to place orders.  While reviewing my inventory list I notice that items are randomly missing.  (I know I have 3 products but 2 are showing up. Eg. certain treats.)  (the second instance I recognized - 2 of 5 items are showing up).  When I search for the specific heading - they will all show up - they are in the inventory - but simply scrolling through my list to determine - low stock - some items are just not there?  I've rebooted my computer this morning.  Using most recent version of Chrome.  All are showing at in stock, visible and are being tracked?  Any ideas? I'm afraid that I'm going to miss ordering something that I need regularly but with so many items I know I'm going to miss some if they're not showing up?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I apologize for any inconvenience you're experiencing. It's concerning to hear about the missing items in your inventory list. We recommend giving our Support Team a call so they can take a closer look with you

Our Support Team is available at 855-809-9000, from Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 6 PM, Pacific Time.

 

In the meantime you can also take a look at the settings in the website dashboard under: Settings -> Item Sync.  Make sure "Mark newly imported items as unavailable" is unchecked.

Thanks for your response.  Of course I sent my query to customer support before coming here.  Update.  New upgrades to the system have caused the problem.  Items created with the "Item Type" "Prepared Food and Beverage" are not showing up.  I can't change the "Item Type" after creation.  The suggested fix from the Square support team was to re-create all the affected items not using that Item Type.  I have 4,749 items.  In order to determine which of these is missing, I will have to export my item catalogue, scroll through my item list on dashboard while comparing to said exported list determining which are missing.

 

Significant time required.  Not impressed.  Certainly open to anyone who can come up with an easier fix.  

 

And, is my account really the only one being affected?  

 

Not a happy Square customer right now.
