Item library unavailable

Hi Square team,

 

We are disappointed about the system because we are more than two weeks without access to our items library on the dashboard. It means we cannot transfer stock between locations, upload inventory in bulk as we receive a considerable container as well, as create an item for many areas in one action. We have contacted the support team ( many hours on the phone ) without success regarding a solution, and all 48 hours of return from the engineering team expired. Now it is a hot season for our sales, and we cannot use the square stock feature even though we are pro members and pay relevant monthly money for the pro plan. I asked for the community's help as our business for so long cannot stop our internal process because of a lack of technical support.

Hi @toysrevolution,

 

Definitely sounds like a job for square support, im sorry to hear they haven't help.

 

When you say you can't access you library, what exactly happens ? Do you get some sort of error onscreen, or is the library just empty.

 

Do you have any sort of app/integration in use that may have modified the inventory ?

Hi Bruce.. thanks for the replay. When I click on library or open my dashboard in all of the locations, the page starts loading for a while, and an error message appears: "Oh no, something went wrong". So we cannot access most of the features or transactions regarding inventory and items. However, the library is not empty as we still have access to the inventory report even though these reports don't show the amount per item per location. 

 

We are planning to sell online soon, and I was searching about some inventory app integration, but at the moment, we are NOT using any app. 

 

Please let me know if you have any idea how we can solve or at least get feedback from the technical support after almost three weeks in this situation that is not just a customer service apologises for email without a forecast for a solution. It is so disrespectful.

I've searched previous forum post and seen a a few similar things mentioned, but no clear resolution.

 

Have you tried clearing out your browser cache (I'm sure you probably have)

So sorry you are having issues with your item library! That is super bizarre. 

 

We have not had any recent reports of any similar issues.
