Hi @spnick we use Square Register with Square Restaurant and then our chef has KDS on an ipad in the kitchen. We also have Square Restaurant on two square stands with ipads The Square stands work much better than the register. I wish we hadn't bought the register and just stuck to the ipads.

Do you know which model/generation iPad you bought? I am interested in KDS but square says its only compatible with iOS13 and the internet seems to think that's only for phones now and iPads are running on iPadOS instead. Also how do you feel about the screen size on a tablet for this application? I was hoping to find something that works on a bigger screen.
We’re using four of them in our kitchen using iPad pros so we have an about a 11” screen in an enclosures. The item unavailable “86 item” works well the connection is stable even on WiFi but most our iPads are hardwired with a Ethernet Poe adapter keeping them charged and connected.
