when my customers are trying to check out, it gives them a message stating currently having technical issues. it has been doing that for the last four days
Hey there @Genuinetreasure. I’m having no issues at all. And there has not been a sudden influx of posts about technical issues. Also, I’ve checked the Square Status Page and there have only been 4 disruptions logged in the month of March. So, my guess is there are either issues with your online store (I’m assuming you are talking about customers having problems checking out there, since you don’t actually say).
In order for us to help you, you’re going to have to get a lot more specific. What were they doing when these “technical issues” pop up? Is this in your online store or somewhere else? Do you have an online store, or are you using checkout links, or are you selling on social media sites, or what? Can you give us exact error messages or screen shots? It is very hard to help you since we have no clue where to start.
One thing I can suggest is for you to unpublish your website, then re-publish it. To unpublish, go to your web dashboard > Online > Website > Site Preferences. Scroll to the Unpublish section and click the Unpublish button. Then publish your site again as you normally would do. Sometimes something gets messed up in your site and this process usually clears out any ghosts.
