I need my purchase orders to automatically apply a SKU when I import.

When I make a purchase order, I have not yet assigned a SKU to the items.  Is there a way to have Square automatically apply it when I upload inventory?  I see that SKU is required on the template.  Ugh!

Hi @Dot3 – I see this is your first post. Welcome! 😊

When you import inventory through the Dashboard, there is a column for SKUs, but you will need to create one—it won’t be automatically assigned. That said, we do have a feature where creating an item directly in the Dashboard will automatically assign a SKU.
