I am very new to Square. I have entered items for sale and marked them as visible, but they are not showing up in the store. I have not gone live yet as I wanted to get a feel of how everything works first. What am I missing?
Hey there @PWD1. So, a couple of possibilities.
First, are you using online categories and, if so, are the items assigned to categories that are visible online?
Second, in your item’s “Where it’s sold” section, is your website toggled on?
Third, do you have online fulfillment settings (pickup, for example) for your items?
Let’s start with those since they are the most obvious.
Thank you! I am not sure what I did, but I have my test item appearing now! It shows up under "Shop All" -- I will keep working on this. I appreciate your help.
@PWD1 Good to hear. I should have mentioned that it can take a while after item additions or changes are made. Square has lots of servers world-wide and changes have to be propogated to all of them. How fast you see them depends on your location, etc. So, patience can definitely be a virtue here.
