How to change price on online item

Again, every time I post a new item I have to ask for help from the community! I dread going to the squareup site as it is absolutely the most difficult site I have to navigate; and I'm a professional web-portal designer!

I created a new online link. So far so good. But, I entered the wrong price. Last time I asked this same question I ended up calling the help desk and got for a solution that worked: Dashboard > Payments > Online Checkout > (click on item) > In popup sidebar at right, scroll down to Details > Edit > change amount > Save.

 

This time there is no longer a "Payments" option on the Dashboard. so I went went via Dashboard > Payments & Invoices > Payment Links > Payment Links, then per the above: clicked on my item > In the popup sidebar at right, scrolled down to Details > Edit. But, after clicking on the edit icon (pencil) in the left scrolling sidebar beside the price it brings up an "Edit Item" dialog ... with the item name and price grayed out! What's the secret to changing a price?

That helped, but not all that straightforward. When I log into the dashboard there is no "my items library" selection in the left-hand menu selections. If I click on "items and services", I find an "item library" selection there. I clicked on that and it did show my items. I clicked in the three dots . . . to get a menu where I could click edit. I changed the price, then SAVE, but got the error "Please enter a valid link". Thankfully, I saved the link elsewhere so I could past that in and it finally saved. Why that is necessary is puzzling, as Square should already know this. If I hadn't saved the link I would have to go back to "items and services", scroll done to and click on "payment links", then copy the link. As I've said often, navigation on this site is a bitch!.

Good Morning, 

I don't know if this would help you but, I go to my items library an click on the one i want to change the price for and change it  then save it.
