How do I create a Discount for X amount of items for a set price?

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "How do I create a discount, that any 3 items in a category / selection of items are $10"

I want to sell any 3 items in one or more categories (example category shirts and category blouses) for $10.00

Example: 1 shirt $4.00 & 1 shirt $7.00 & 1 blouse $15.00 instead of selling this for $26.00 I want to sell these three items for a total of $10.00

I checked out the settings available in Discounts, and it doesn't seem possible to set up exactly what you're looking for here. You could set up category-based discounts for shirts and blouses and then choose "variable amount" for the discount type, but there isn't a way to limit this to only 3 items in the qualifying categories if the customer wants to buy more than 3.

If you're using Square for Retail Plus or Premium, you could accomplish this by utilizing the Bundles feature. You can bundle multiple items together to sell for a single unit price. For example, $10.

Since this option is available in Lightspeed, it means that Square just has to hard-code it in the system. Many more Square customers will use this functionality.

I think I overlooked something here 😅 I believe you can accomplish this by following the setup for "quantity automatic discounts". Please take a look at the steps in the Support Article here and let me know if this is what you're looking for!
