Online store, self-pay How can we stop showing 'most popular' before items list on customer item page? It confuses customers and they have to scroll more to look for their product of choice. We have fast-paced customers that need faster service.

To remove 'Most Popular' items from customer experience;

Ok, with menu structure, screen display and terminology changes, instructions in community answers are subject to change. With a few clues here and there, here is how I found a current answer to my own question. Maybe this sequence will change but may provide clues when I forget next time I try to do this again.

To remove 'Most Popular' items from customer experience at your Square online site;

On a computer, visit your ...squareup.com/dashboard. Select:

>Home

>>Online

>>>Websites (select your shop name in dropdown and 'Switch sites' by selection if you have more than one shop)

In the site preview area on the screen, an image of your site is shown, select 'Edit Site' button.

In the 'Site Design' area that should now be displayed, select 'Item list' and then 'View Items' button. You should then see option to hover over 'Most popular' and select with an off/on button. In addition,  a 'Recent orders' option is also selectable with an off/on button. You should also see your 'Items' list. The items listed may be all items available on all of your shops even if they are not set to 'visible' in all shops.

Good luck!

Holy cow, now I see why this was so difficult. While trying to update another site in the same method, I did not see the 'Items list option. See below for added information in bold/italic.
