How can I do a daily special on my orders?

I would like to do online orders for a daily feature.  How can I make this happen?Ordering has to occur two days in advance.

You might be interested in time-based categories to feature your daily specials for a fixed amount of time.

This is helpful, but loads up my online store with too many categories, because my individual items are only available certain days per week.  It would be better if each item was allowed to be time based, or could have dates available, such as specials for Valentine's day.

And, it doesn't work......because it won't let you order two days in advance.  I want the items only available on the days that they are made, but they need to be orderable two days in advance - or more, so that I have the lead time to make them.  My items take three days to make - so ordering ahead is the whole point of this exercise.

Hmm, there isn't a perfect solution for what you're looking to do. The best workaround is what I suggested above. Sorry about that. @HearthGrain

Thanks for trying to help.  I might still be able to do it, but it will look like my items are available on the wrong day.....so I will have to find a way to clarify that somehow.

Hopefully the powers that be can find a way to implement this into the structure that they have.  Because I am sure that I am not the only one that requires a feature like this.
