Help with adding ADDRESSES to categories in store - for issuing checks

hello, 

I have an art consignment store with 60 categories (different artists) and would love to add their mailing addresses somewhere in the square system.  SO when I run "transaction" reports for payment at the end of each month, I can do a mail merge with all the items sold, their address etc. and it can all go on one sheet that I can mail them with a check. I cant see how to do that. 

(maybe it has to do with vendors?) I've already been running square with different categories for 1+year, so I dont want to reinvent the wheel. Any way to add them easily ?  thanks!

As I see this is your first post let me welcome you to the Sellers communinty forum.

I would just set the 60 Different artists up as Vendors, then export your vendors as a csv file that you can do a mail merge with.  You may need 2 csv files to merge with as the Sales of Categories for each Artist would need to merge with also the Vendors list for payments.

Thank you! helpful! I  cant see how to even add the vendors on my square app when open in the computer. Do you have advice on that as well? is there a spot to put addresses?

On a Desktop computer sign in to Square Dashboard - Then Items - Inventory Management - Vendors.

Hope this helps, also you can export and then add Vendors that way then Upload it to this same area if you prefer to use Spreadsheets.

From your picture looks like you were almost there, but your screen is a little different than mine.  Are you trying to do this for your Square Website since it is showing Channel Listings where mine shows Inventory Management. In the below image I have the Website I went to to get the screen below, does yours match mine after your signed in to your Dashboard?  

You wanted right at the top of your image Item Library - then under that Inventory Management - Vendors.

You want to go to Squares Dashboard- Items - Inventory Management - Vendors

Then on the right side there should be a button to Add a Vendor.

Hi again, I appreciate your help. I have added a few sample Vendors- under the BILLPAY page.. though I cant see how to add them under inventory management under items (I'm including the screenshot)  I cant see how to add them where you said to...  . I am hoping to somehow connect my many items categories TO the vendors.. so that I can get their address somehow onto my mail merge for a report/ check at the end of the month. Again-  not sure if that's possible.  I'll add an image of what it looked like in the items/ inventory page.
