Find items with no tax category

Hi! I am having trouble with my xero integration and reporting (apparently there's a missing mapping setting?) and I suspect it is because some of my items may be missing a tax category. Something I missed when setting up an item. I have a lot of items and wondering if anyone can tell me how to filter items by their tax rate (ie find those that do not have one assigned)? Thanks so much!

Hello this is a subject that continues to get asked for as a feature request

as far as assigning tax

I would export my library into a spread sheet sort by the tax category and then go in an manually fix those items which do not have a tax assigned to the item.  maybe AI could help you with that but I am not sure.

Hello @LCF .  I would recommend exporting your item library to do the tax check.   You can do this multiple ways now actually;

  1. Go to ITEMS and then select the "Actions" button in the upper right, and then choose "Export Library".  The library will export into a CSV file that can be opened as a spreadsheet.  You can find the "tax column" and check for the tax setting accordingly.
  2.  Ask the Managerbot to find the items and make the changes accordingly.  (I have not done this but I think it would work)

Give that a go and let us know if issue.

Good luck!
