We're getting this error when updating stock numbers on seemingly random items - will accept updates on several, then have this error appear and not allow us to save: customAttributeValues[0].name is a required field
There are no custom attributes active on the items in question.... they look identical to other items in our catalog that seem to work fine.... It has appeared in multiple categories, on multiple items. We deleted one item and re-created it, same exact parameters, all was fine. Obviously that's not a long term solution..... If we duplicate a "broken" item, the error also appears on the duplicate....
Me too !!! This just started a couple of weeks ago. I need help too. I called support and they were not any help. Anyone know?
I'm getting the same - how do we fix it..?
This is happening to us as well. We have to update new prices and we can't save it! This is ridiculous since we don't use custom attributes!
Same issue here. I called support about it a couple days ago and I think they said it's a known bug that they're working on, I think it has something to do with the migration from weebly to square's own website stuff. There have been a few weird bugs recently that have things not transferring over correctly but they've been resolved fairly quickly.
A short term work around if you just need to update inventory qty (or other simple updates) is that items seem to save fine on POS interface, but not dashboard. Obviously there are some major limitations to doing a lot via the POS interface and it isn't great for doing images, long text, etc but it's something.
