Hi all,
When I select an item in a Display Group from any page in my menu, it returns me to page 1 of my menu and not the page I was on when I entered the display group. This is really messing up my staff as they have to then scroll back to the page they were previously on.
For example, I have drinks on page 3 in several Display Groups, Beers, Wines, Spirits, etc. when staff enter a drinks Display Group such as Wine and add a glass to an order they are exited to Food on page 1 of the menu. Scroll, scroll back to page 3 for the second drink order. You can see how this is annoying and slows down service.
Is there a setting to change this behavior's so it exits back to the same page?
And is it possible to have a button on page 1 that will jump direct to page 3?

Have you tried reporting this to our Square for Restaurants Support Team so they can offer their input? I personally had never heard of this behavior before.
One thing you could also try is troubleshooting with your Square Register if you haven't done so yet.

Hey, I think youre looking for the menu behaviour setting.
navigate to Points of Sale > Service Settings > Menu Behavior. This allows you to change whether the menu goes back to the main menu page or stays within a display group after adding an item.
